MediaLab provides resources and technology for graphic design, video, audio, and image editing, web development, and 3D modeling. Experienced student technology specialists assist our users with their creative endeavors.

Online assistance via Zoom is available during the posted hours.

MediaLab computer workstations are available by reservation on level 1 of the library and also remotely.

MediaLab poster printer is available as a walk-up self-service on level 1 of the library.

  • Computer workstations with access to a variety of specialized software, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut Pro X, Logic Pro X, PluralEyes, and DaVinci Resolve.
    • In-person: 11 iMacs on level 1 of Woodruff Library are available by reservation.
    • Remote access: request it by filling out this form (for Emory students only).
  • Software training
    • Student technology specialists are available during staffed hours to provide remote Zoom assistance with using the specialized software.

  • Poster Printing: high-quality photo gloss printing of posters up to 24" wide 
    • Price: $2 per sq. foot. Costs formula: price = (width x height) ÷ 72. Examples of costs:
      • 24" x 36" poster: $12
      • 18" x 24" poster: $6
      • 11" x 17" poster: $2.60
    • This is a walk-up self-service. To use the poster printer:
      • Reserve a MediaLab workstation.
      • Come to level 1 of the library at the time of your reservation and login to the reserved MediaLab workstation.
      • Use Adobe Photoshop or other application of your choice to open/edit your file.
      • When ready to print, select the DesignJet printer from the list.
      • If in need of assistance, get help via Zoom (see the hours above) or onsite Tuesdays and Fridays, 9am - 5pm.
