FY24 Impact Report
Academic Technology Services (ATS) facilitates the innovative and effective use of technologies to enhance and strengthen teaching and learning at Emory. ATS works with faculty and students in selecting and using technologies to solve problems, communicate with others, and present ideas.
ATS comprises 3 teams:
- Teaching & Learning Technologies (TLT)
- Student Digital Life (SDL)
- Academic Production
Teaching & Learning Technologies
TLT manages the University’s Learning Management System (Canvas) and associated infrastructure, as well as provides direct support to faculty and students on best practices using Canvas and other innovative educational technologies.

Student Digital Life
SDL offers a variety of campus services and integrated technologies to support student learning, creativity, and collaboration. These include innovative learning spaces, digital media production facilities, and creative makerspaces, as well as key technology support services such as campus-wide student printing and personal technology support for all students on campus.
