EaglePrint
There are two ways to use Emory's campus printing/copying/scanning service: either from your device via the EaglePrint web application or from one of our lab computers.
Upload a file at eagleprint.emory.edu
You must be connected to EmoryUnplugged or using Emory's VPN to access.- Login to eagleprint.emory.edu with your NetID and password.
- Select color or black/white and single or double-sided options.
- Adjust the number of copies.
- Drag and drop the file you wish to print and click Upload & Complete.
- Head to an EaglePrint station and swipe your EmoryCard to release your print job.
From a lab computer
- Login to one of our workstations with your NetID and password.
- Open the file you wish to print and select File > Print
- Choose either EaglePrint_BW (for black & white) or EaglePrint_Color (for color)
- Adjust the number of copies, page range, single/double-sided settings, and other options.
- Click Print.
- Head to an EaglePrint station and swipe your EmoryCard to release your print job.
| Single-Sided | Double-Sided |
Black and White | $0.09 /page | $0.07 /page |
Color | $0.40 /page | $0.30 /page |
Prices are calculated per page of the original file, not per sheet of printed paper. The discounted price for double-sided printing accounts for the paper that is saved.
Scanning/Faxing is free. Please note Fax is only available at multi-function printers in Woodruff Library, Rollins School of Public Health, and the School of Nursing.
Payment: Only Eagle Dollars are accepted. Add funds at links.emory.edu/eagle
SGA and GSGA provide printing subsidies for Emory students on the Atlanta and Oxford campuses. The subsidy of $5 per Fall and Spring semesters only equates to around 70 black-and-white, double-sided pages and can be applied to any type of printing at EaglePrint stations around campus.
The printing subsidy is not transferable, applies only in the semester for which it's offered, and does not roll over to subsequent semesters. The subsidy has no cash value. Unspent funds at the end of the semester are not refundable.
The print credit is applied by the EmoryCard office. It is generally applied after the end of add/drop/swap. You can email them at emorycard@emory.edu with any questions about the print credit.
EaglePrint printers are located in residence halls, libraries, student centers, and select academic buildings. Please use the maps linked below for details.
Layout: If printing from a lab workstation, double-sided printing (duplex) is enabled by default. To print single-sided, modify the settings in the print dialog box when submitting your print job.
Paper: Printers contain 'Letter' size paper (8.5"x11") only. For different paper sizes, provide your own paper and use the manual feed tray on the printer.Time limit: Print jobs are held in the queue for 2 hours.
To report printing issues, email eagleprint@emory.edu or visit the local service desk (if one is available) for immediate assistance.
EaglePrint is only accessible on EmoryUnplugged, on a wired campus network connection, or using the Emory VPN.
The Computing Center at Cox Hall offers 36-inch printers for the Emory community to use for academic/research poster printing. MediaLab also has a 24-inch printer for high-quality satin photo and art printing. See details at the link below.
Non-Emory guests can print on campus by purchasing a print card at a library service desk, registering as a guest, and using WebPrint.
Instructions:
1. Purchase a Print Card
- Visit Woodruff Library or Woodruff Health Sciences Center Library and purchase a print card from the service desk. These cards are preloaded with a set amount of money for printing and cannot be refilled or refunded.
2. Register as a Guest
- After obtaining a print card, go to the EaglePrint website, eagleprint.emory.edu, and select the option to "Register as a guest."
3. Create a Guest Username and Password
- Create a new username and password to access the EaglePrint system. Please note:
- All usernames have "guest-" automatically added to what is entered (e.g., if you enter "abc" in the Username field, the system will create the actual username of "guest-abc").
- Your password must be at least 8 characters long.
4. Upload Print Job to WebPrint
- Once registered, you can go to eagleprint.emory.edu and login using the guest username and password created in the previous step.
- Upload the document to be printed through Web Print using the green "Submit a Job" button, selecting the "printer" that matches the job attributes you want (BW or color, single-sided or double-sided), setting the number of copies, and selecting the file to upload.
5. With the print job uploaded, proceed to any EaglePrint-enabled printer on campus
- Swipe the purchased print card at the card reader attached to the printer.
- During the card's first use only, the printer will prompt you to log in with your guest username (starting with "guest-") and your password.
6. Release the Print Job
- You will see your print jobs on the printer screen.
- Select the desired print job and follow the on-screen prompts to release the print.
